Train. Mentor. Employ.

Second Chance Academy

Culinary training that is meant to end in work. Train, mentor, employ.

Send this team a brief

The Second Chance Academy is our culinary academy: train, mentor, and employ. It exists to build skill and then put that skill on a line — in our kitchens and with employers who will actually hire. Partners, trainees, and kitchens that can take someone on all start on this page.

  • Train, mentor, employ
  • Culinary skills, not a lecture series
  • Open to trainees, employers, and partners

Three doors, one program

If you want training, say that. If you can hire, say that. If you want to fund or refer, say that. The academy reads a different note for each, which is the only way a callback is useful.

Tied to the kitchens

This is not a separate charity with a logo on the wall. It sits inside a hospitality group that runs trucks, catering, meal programs, and ghost kitchens — places where trained people can work.
